More gray days, and another visit to Shoup-Parsons Woods. I don't know what kind of fungus this is, but there was quite a colony of these clam-shell looking ones on this particular tree. The darker ones above were in a different spot.
[Still hoping to get back into a more regular posting pattern soon. The past couple weeks there have been new glitches, with my desktop wanting to upload photos into an inaccessible folder. I think we have a work-around figured out now. And one of these days there might even be enough sun to inspire photography efforts..]
