Have you been missing receiving regular posts from my photo blog? So have I. Sadly, my hard drive is slowly dying and we are in a transitional mode. The photos are backed up in two different places, but my laptop does not have the same configuration as my desktop computer, and I have not been able to download and work with photos. There will be a continuing pause of this blog as we get a new hard drive and while I choose and learn a new photo editor.

​In the meantime, enjoy the photos in the archives here, and let me know if you re-discover old favorites. I would like to develop a series of cards that could be used for meditation times or simply enjoyed for their beauty.

Have you been considering what form spiritual guidance might take for you? In addition to the ongoing option of individual spiritual guidance, either in person or via Skype, I will be offering three monthly groups this next school year, running from September through May.

​One meets at my home, 615 College Avenue in Goshen:
​Wayfarers offers group direction for 4-5 people. Using structured conversation and contemplation, we sift the grit and glory of our ordinary lives, expanding our awareness of and response to God. Together we develop skills of holy listening – to God, ourselves, each other, and the world. Each month includes a guided prayer time and focus sessions for two participants.

Two will meet at Pathways Retreat Center just north of Goshen:
Windwatchers draws on prayer practices of attentiveness and receptivity from centuries of Christian tradition, along with insights from Gestalt Pastoral Care. Each month we learn about practices such as prayer of awareness, lectio divina, visio divina, contemplative photography, walking prayer, or centering prayer, and learn about helpful frames like the awareness continuum and modes of perception. Participants have opportunities to play and pray with these, and then reflect together on our experiences.
​Inklings is a monthly spiritual formation group focused through a writing lens. Each month a theme and writing prompts are introduced with the invitation to explore some aspect of your unfolding relationship with God. Participants have an extended time for attentive silence and scribbling. During the second portion of the morning, we return to the group setting for reflection and structured conversation, providing the support and insight of the group as participants delve more deeply into what they have encountered in their writing time.
